Toni Kunchi is a small-scale accommodation in the green heart of Curaçao, where peace, personal hospitality, and the rich history of the island come together. A place to discover the island at your own pace, with Willemstad, the beaches, and other special places within easy reach.
After a day out, there's plenty of space to relax. Take a refreshing dip in the pool, enjoy a drink on the patio, or admire the green fields from our new rooftop terrace. Surrounded by birds, you can just do nothing for a while.

Behind every name lies a story. Our five rooms are named after historical mansions of Curaçao — places that each in their own way are part of the island's history.
We find it special to keep these stories alive and to share them with our guests.
Who is Toni Kunchi?
We welcome couples, singles, and business travelers who are looking for a personal, peaceful place as a base to discover Curaçao — centrally located, surrounded by greenery, and away from mass tourism.
A place with a story
Where the name Toni Kunchi comes from will forever remain a mystery. It is a corruption of Toni Koentje, we know that much, and possibly the nickname of one of the former owners. What was once plantation Vreugdenberg has grown over the years into the green and special neighborhood that Toni Kunchi is today.
The stories behind the country houses
Toni Kunchi is located in an area where the history of Curaçao is still visible everywhere. The historic country houses that once stood here each tell their own story. I collected these stories in a free e-book, for anyone who would like to get to know Curaçao a little better.

My name is Simône and this is how my adventure began in Curaçao!
Curaçao was love at first sight!
In 1990, I set foot on Curaçao for the first time. If you had told me then that this island would become my second homeland, I probably wouldn't have believed you. What was supposed to be a stopover became my life.
After a diving career in the fishing village of Lagun - where I also met my current husband :) - we settled around the turn of the century on the other side of the island, in the green and historic Toni Kunchi.
On Valentine's Day 2007, Toni Kunchi welcomed her first guests. Now, almost 20 years later, I am still able to welcome guests with a lot of love and share my passion for Curaçao with them.
